using sight words for articulation practice
Use this website to kill two birds with one stone! Practice your child's targeted speech sounds while getting the sight words down! For instance, your child is to correctly produce the /sh, ch/ sounds in the beginnings of words, these are called digraphs and this website has a digraph practice page! Instead of calling it sight word/speech practice, call it a game since there are many of them here!

The BEST Proloquo2go manual!
http://download.assistiveware.com/proloquo2go/files/Proloquo2GoManual.pdf
For those familiar with the iPad software, Proloquo, AssistiveWare has really "beefed up" their manual with awesome visual supports. It shows each drop-down menu for all of the functions of this software. Give it a look!

http://praacticalaac.org/ is a great tool for professionals and families for allowing individuals to access assistive technology. I have used this website for its articles, updates, and professional blogs numerous times. You can also "like" their page on Facebook for daily updates. A great resource!!

Follow me on Pinterest!
I admit, I mix business with pleasure on my Pinterest page but school ideas are (for the most part) orgranized onto the properly-labeled boards. Happy re-pinning!

Great examples for HFA and TEACCH
Some colleagues and I have various Pinterest boards for special end. One is for TEACCH tasks so naturally you go to the UNC website where this method was developed. Scroll down and check out the examples highlighted in blue, excellent for older students or those with high functioning autism.

Idioms, idioms, idioms!
Working with an older population has re-introduced me to these non-literal vocabulary gems. I find this site most enjoyable, especially projected on the SMARTboard!
